From the warm welcome from the host, Daniel, to the cozy cottage-like interior and incredible views of the Boyne Valley, everything about this place was perfect. the lodge provided everything I needed, and if there was anything else I needed, Daniel was always willing to help. It's a peaceful and private location, yet conveniently close to Drogheda town center. the lodge itself is well-insulated and temperature control is easy. It's definitely a great alternative to a hotel stay.

The location is ideal, just a short drive from the town centre, offering both tranquility and convenience. The lodge itself was well-insulated and temperature control was a breeze. The complimentary access to free Wi-Fi and parking, as well as the availability of an electric kettle and kitchen utensils, added to the convenience and comfort of my stay. The host, Daniel, went above and beyond to ensure that I had everything I needed, even offering a lift to a wedding venue. I cannot recommend this place enough, it truly exceeded all expectations. To anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable experience, I wholeheartedly recommend this hidden gem.

The apartment at The Shepherd's Lodge was cozy and comfortable, making me feel right at home. I absolutely loved having a kitchenette with a microwave and fridge, making it convenient for quick meals. The private entrance of the apartment added a nice touch of privacy and tranquility. The flat-screen TV in the living area was perfect for relaxing and catching up on my favorite shows.

Personally, I found the toaster in the apartment a bit outdated for my liking.
